Square # 16 - Olivia's Daddy
Square # 15 - Olivia's Daddy
Square # 14 - Olivia's Daddy
Daddy is not the healthiest eater, and not very good about trying and eating many fruits and vegetables; however, Mommy will try and eat just about any vegetable or fruit and is therefore a healthy eater. It is Daddy’s wish that you take after Mommy and love eating fruits and vegetables so you can always be healthy and strong.
Square # 13 - Olivia's Daddy
Daddy is overly fascinated with going to the zoo and any activity involving watching and interacting with animals. Mommy often refers to him as being like a squirrel in such situations. It is Daddy’s wish that you are just as enamored with watching and interacting with animals as he is, and can be a squirrel with him.

Square # 10 - Julie from January/February LID Group
Square # 9 - Kerry from January/February LID Group
Look at the awesome, Chinese fabric that arrived from Kerry and her family. Along with the fabric came this sweet saying and wish:
Hurt no loving thing;
Ladybird, nor butterfly,
Nor moth with dusty wing,
Nor cricket chirping cheerfully,
Nor grasshopper so light of leap,
Nor dancing gnat, nor beetle fat,
Nor harmless worms that creep.

Square # 7 - Louise from January/February LID Group
Thank you to Louise and her family for the adorable bug fabric she sent for Olivia's quilt. Louise sent the words to Elton John and Bernie Taupin's "Blessed".
Hey you, you're a child in my head
You haven't walked yet
Your first words have yet to be said
But I swear, you'll be blessed
I know you're still just a dream
Your eyes might be green
Or the bluest that I've ever seen
Anyway you'll be blessed
And you, you'll be blessed
You'll have the best
I promise you that
I'll pick a star from the sky
Pull your name from a hat
I promise you that, promise you that, promise you that
You'll be blessed
I need you before I'm too old
To have and to hold
To walk with you and watch you grow
And know that your blessed
Louise and her family's wish was:
We wish for you all the blessings and best that life can bring to you and your forever family. Always remember how blessed you are and what a blessing you are to those who love you! May love, luck and success be yours through all your days!
Square # 6 - Kerrie from January/February LID Group
A new wish arrived from a Yahoo Group friend, Kelly and her husband Mike. Along with the square she wrote:
HOPE, that our family will soon be together as we long for the days with our child in our arms.
FAITH, that our family will be enlightened to cherish the moments safe from harm.
JOY, that enters our lives when we realize our dreams have finally come true.
LOVE, unconditional a new child arrives. Welcome home baby, we love you.
TRUST, in this wish, it will all come true!
Mike and Kelly's wish was:
May HOPE, FAITH, JOY, LOVE, and TRUST guide your way in the maze of life.

Square # 5 - Amy from January/February LID Group
Today our 5th square arrived from my Yahoo Group friend, Amy Caruso and her family. They sent the words to a song from one of Pauly's favorite movies as their wish...Climb Every Mountain from The Sound Of Music.
Climb every mountain, search high and low
Follow every byway, every path you know.
Climb every mountain, ford every stream
Follow every rainbow, until you find your dream!
A dream that will need all the love you can give,
Every day of your life for as long as you live.
Climb every mountain, ford every stream
Follow every rainbow, until you find your dream!
Square # 4 - Tina from January/February LID Group
Square # 3 - Sara from January/February LID Group
Square number 3 arrived from another one of my Yahoo Group friends...Sara Shoemaker and her family. To match the fabric that says "Moo" on it...she sent the words to Old MacDonald...
Old MacDonald had a farm, e-i-e-i-o.
And on his farm, he had a ...COW!
e-i-e-i-o.
With a moo, moo here, and a moo, moo there.
Here a moo, there a moo,
Everywhere a moo, moo!
Old MacDonald had a farm, e-i-e-i-o.
The Shoemaker's wish was:
Our wish for you: fun- filled days of endless play!
Square # 2 - Laurie from January/February LID Group
Another square has come...this one is from Laurie McDonald...another one of my friends from the Yahoo Group. She sent star fabric as well, and this poem by Shel Silverstein
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The INPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me -
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be
Her wish for Olivia was:
Wishing you the courage to dream big, and to chase those dreams to the stars and back.
Listen to the MUSTN'TS, child
Listen to the DON'TS
Listen to the SHOULDN'TS
The INPOSSIBLES, the WON'TS
Listen to the NEVER HAVES
Then listen close to me -
Anything can happen, child,
ANYTHING can be
Her wish for Olivia was:
Wishing you the courage to dream big, and to chase those dreams to the stars and back.

Square # 1 - Tamra from January/February LID Group
I received the first square for Olivia's Bai Jia Bei Quilt today.
It came from Tamra and her family. Tamra belongs to my Yahoo Group where we decided to do a quilt square exchange. (I am going to get my fabric to send out tomorrow).
She sent us star fabric, and the words to the song Somewhere Out There, which is so appropriate for those of us waiting for children who are on the other side of the world.
Here is the wish she sent:
After many nights of wishing on the same bright star, may all your dreams come true as a Forever Family.
THANK YOU TAMRA, JEFF, TYLER, & MORGAN!!!!!!!!
